The Sweetest Escape

January 13, 2016
“Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life…”

Life is not as easy as ABC if you live with so much chaos and spending too much time digging yourself with bombarding stuffs and not able to escape quite for sometimes. Somehow, life is a sweet journey of running away and take to your heels to some places of your comfort zone.

I keep on dreaming every night to live a life that I used to be, finding my comfort zone. The days when I have no worries about my city life. The nature touches my body with no pollution. No so much noise and traffic around me. No alarm clocks and deadlines. No computers and internet. No hangouts and no so much drawbacks bugging my mind. I just want to unwind myself and get lost in the middle of wonderful greens.

I’d promised myself to fulfill and went back to my childhood wonders before another page turn to the next chapter (year 2016). And I did it for awhile. I went to  my hometown at the mountain of Danao City, Cebu. It’s been a satisfying experience to end my year 2015 by just a simple sweet escape from my city life and got lost around my home town ~ sa among bukid ~ in our mountain for just two nights and three days out of 365 days in a year. Living beyond nothing but only a life with peace and love. The fresh air, clean spring water, birds singing, healthy fruits and romantic night while looking up  the skies and star gazing. All those stuffs were my childhood escapade with the whole family and the simple things I missed so much.

It was indeed a blessing for us when our cow gave birth to her cutie calf.

Just simple refreshment: harvest and eat coconut fruit (butong)
“all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow”
Well, after a decade, I am about half of my life and I still want to redo my childhood sweetest escape. Everything changes to something better for now and for sure the best will come again soon. And you too, you can do it by simply heading to your own comfort zone. ♥

Thank you so much for the unforgettable memories of the year 2015 my dearest readers, family, friends and colleagues. And finally, a new year come with full of love and peace. I wish more happiness and blessings for all of us for this year 2016.
Happy New Year. ^.^

  1. Your home town is gorgeous! My uncle had an 80 acre farm in Kentucky. The cows were so chill haha. But those trees your country has…love!
