One of these is to be extremely away from the city, even just a few days. Bohol Island is the best place for that. This island offers scenic spots with enthralling Eco adventure activities. The place is popular for tourist destination and known to be the friendly heart of the Visayas.

For the second time of having a momentous in Bohol island would be more compelling with my “ZAI”. We have been friends since grade school and until beyond two decades now the friendship still remains. And we chose Bohol Island because this place is a must visit!

Day 1


Chocolate Hills Complex

The most popular Chocolate Hills observation area known for its panoramic views of its hilly, tree-filled surrounds which unfurl on the natural open highland of Bohol. Access the place on Loay Interior Road, Carmen, Bohol. Entrance fee PHP 50.

Butterfly Sanctuary

A perfect place for Lepidopterists or for those butterfly lovers. Bohol Island is composed of more than 10 butterfly sanctuaries with more than 300 butterflies and moths of various species. Entrance fee PHP 60.00 (adults) PHP 30.00 (child)



Philippine Tarsier and Wildlife Sanctuary

Tarsiers are the world’s smallest primate, which are now endangered species. This endearing creature has a charming bullseye that clings to the thin branches while shading under the cool leaves. Baclayon Church

A place with full of peace. People who attend mass in this church would surely admire the kids who love to serve God. This is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines and known for its historic faith. It was affected by the 2013 earthquake tragedy and after a few years of renovation, it is back to its normal Catholic service.

Blood Compact Monument

This monument is notable for its blood compact in the history of Bohol, depicting the historical sign of friendship between the Spaniards and the Filipinos on 1565. It’s located at the highway of Tagbilaran, Bohol so anytime you can drop by the spot.

Bohol Bee Farm Resort

Exclusively! This place is full of learnings about the organic farming and industrial craft. We stayed almost three hours and tasted the organic dishes fresh from their farm at their authentic restaurant. Then, we had our farming tour and able to be an onlooker for bees. That was very interesting. Plus, we enjoyed the flavorsome ice cream. You must try the best seller Malunggay ice cream for as low as PHP 70.00. Hinagdanan Cave

After the solemn mass at Baclayon church and engaging historic event at Blood Compact Monument, the “zai” hopped to the famous Panglao cave, the Hinagdanan Cave. This is where we able to witness the crystal-clear underground river. The cave is naturally well-lighted by the sunlight through holes from the ceiling and it reflects the stunning large stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave. Shell museum

This museum beholds the enormous display of shells with its diverse kind. This is one of the biggest shell collections in the world from its smallest variety to the biggest one. It’s located at Poblacion, Panglao, Bohol. Entrance fee PHP 50.00

Alona Beach

The most faved spots of tourist destination in Bohol is the Alona Beach and known to be the “tropical paradise of the island”. The stunning white-sand and rocky cliffs are always be breathtaking to every tripper. The beach is famous for snorkeling and scuba-diving spot.
